Rookie Ryan Vickers secured a full-time ride on the WorldSBK grid for 2025 after an impressive campaign in the British Superbike championship, linking up with Lorenzo Mauri’s Motocorsa Racing squad and the Ducati Panigale V4 R for this debut season. A nine-time race winner in his native UK, Vickers will have high hopes heading into his rookie season as he adapts to new machinery and new tracks.

Ducati (2025-)

Vickers showed some strong early speed during winter testing on the Panigale V4 R machine as he started adapting from the BSB-spec Yamaha R1 he raced before. Although not his first foray into WorldSBK, the Brit will be looking to build throughout the year as he looks for the best possible results in his maiden season.

Kawasaki (2022)

Vickers’ maiden WorldSBK outing came in 2022 at the Autodrom Most as he stepped onto the TPR Team Pedercini Kawasaki bike for one round, taking a best finish of 17^th as he narrowly missed out on points on the ZX-10RR.

Before WorldSBK

The #17 made a name for himself rising through the ranks in Britain, winning the 2018 STK600 title before making his British Superbike debut the following year. He raced with Kawasaki machinery between 2019 and 2021 before a switch to BMW for 2022, but it was his move a season later as he linked up with Yamaha that was the catalyst to wins and podiums. Two victories came in 2023 before another seven in 2024, totalling 20 podiums.
